Course Description: This 2-day (16-hour), hands-on training focuses on the mechanical functioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and field repair of the classic Sig Sauer pistol line (P220, P226, P228, P229, P239). This course will cover the Sig Sauer Safety System, disassembly and assembly procedures for slides, frames and magazines, inspection procedures, diagnostics, operational function checks, sight installation and adjustment, and alternative maintenance methods. Upon completion of this course the student will receive a 3-year armorer certification from Sig Sauer, which will enable the student to develop a maintenance program for the inspection and servicing of department Sig Sauer pistols. REGISTRATION MUST BE THROUGH SIG SAUER.

Prerequisites: This course is beneficial for all levels of law enforcement and civilian employees. Attedees will need pen and paper. Laptops may be used if battery powered.
