All non-attorney visits are recorded and subject to electronic monitoring. Your participation in jail visitation constitutes consent to this recording, monitoring, and review. Visits from properly registered attorneys will not be recorded or monitored.

The Sheriff’s Office has the authority to terminate visits, to deny visitation privileges, and to deny visitors at any time. For safety and security reasons the following list specifies some of the rules that apply to the visitation areas. • An unaccompanied person age 16 or 17 may visit, if the person is married to the prisoner or if the person is visiting their incarcerated parent or legal guardian. Prior approval from the Jail Administration is required. Children under 16 must be supervised at all times by a responsible adult while in visitation and in the lobby of the Public Safety Building and the City-County Building. The visit will be canceled if the children are not supervised.
